Taajira : The Businesswoman was founded on 4 March, 2019 by Rukhshi Elias, a homemaker, philanthropist, social entrepreneur and a trainer.
She has a passion to create better opportunities for women and has been encouraging budding entrepreneurs.
With her indomitable optimism and can-do spirit, she has become a role model for thousands of aspiring women entrepreneurs today connecting almost 26000 women not only from Kolkata but from all around the world.
This journey has been possible only with the assistance and dedication of her panel of moderators, Zainab Saigal, Shumaila Khalid and Ifra Nadeem.
Taajira began initially as a means of encouragement and promotion chiefly for Muslim women homepreneurs through small scale business, has gradually transformed into an inclusive network of women from all communities and has several success stories to boast about.
